International scientific conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Professor Giorgi Tsereteli (November 27, 2022, Tbilisi)
In November 27, 2022, at the I-st building of I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) took place the international scientific conference – “The innovative development of economics: world’s experience and perspectives ” that was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of professor Giorgi Tsereteli.
The plenary session of conference was opened by director of Paata Gugushvili Institute of Economics, doctor of economics, professor –Ramaz Abesadze.
The messages of greetings to the participants of conference was been made by the head of scientific research and development department at TSU – professor Giorgi Ghvedashvili and dean of the faculty of business and economics – professor Giorgi Gaganidze. They positively estimated the current activities of Institute and wished to reach the new successful steps in future.
Director of I.Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics at TSU – professor George Jaiani in his greetings also positively evaluated the scientific research works of Institute of Economics and he was wishing to strengthen a productive cooperation between both Institutes. For the leading role of making closer a scientific relationship between our research institutions, professor Abesadze awarded to professor Jaiani the jubilee medal of Institute of Economics.
The report about life and impressionable scientific works of professor Giorgi Tsereteli was made by deputy director of Institute of Economics, doctor of economics – Tea Lazarashvili.
Head of the department of principle economics at TSU, professor Elguja Mekvabishvili who from childhood years knew professor Tsereteli, mentioned about his great interest to math and other applied sciences from the early ages.During of their scientific addresses, academician - Vladimer Papava and professor - Teimuraz Shengelia talked not only about the challenges and perspectives of world economics but also recollected their memories about professor Giorgi Tsereteli.By the ending of conference working sessions, the leading scientists and chairs of sections at Institute – professors: Vakhtang Burduli, George Berulava, Murman Kvaratskhelia, doctors of economics: Mamuka Khuskivadze, Tea Lazarashvili, Ketevan Kveladze made their final reports.
At last, the conference was summing up by chair of organizing committee, director of Institute of Economics – professor Ramaz Abesadze.
After ending of conference was held a cultural event.
